The quickest way to find out what's going on is to read the various bulletins available: the NHS Chief Executive David Nicholson's The Week, The Month, The Quarter (stats), and The Year (annual report).

There are also bulletins from the Chief Nursing Officer (to subscribe Nurse Directors email other nurses, health visitors and midwives email giving  e-mail address,  name, job title, full name of organisation, full postal address with postcode, plus phone and fax numbers) and Chief Medical Officer, GP bulletin, allied health professionals and so on.

The Week is the place to start: need-to-know news, consultations and events for chief executives and their teams. It provides links to more information and resources, highlighting areas for action.  Published every Thursday.

Quality,  Innovation, Productivity and Prevention Challenge (see Jargon Buster)
